According to a new report Monday, Apple has enlisted help of popular YouTubers such as Louis Cole and sketch comedy channel Wong Fu Productions who appear to be working in unknown capacity on future Apple promotions.
MacRumors, which first reported on the news, thinks a variant of Apple’s ‘Shot on iPhone’ advertising campaign could be in the works in time for the ‘iPhone 6s’ and ‘iPhone 6s Plus’ launch next month.
The speculation makes sense as the new iPhones are said to feature an improved 12-megapixel camera with a bigger sensor and 4K video capture. Coincidentally, an unconfirmed source said recently Apple is already shooting ‘Shot on iPhone in 4K’ ads in Iceland, South Africa and Australia.

Louis confirmed a partnership in Apple in a video posted earlier this month.
He apparently discussed partnership opportunities with Apples’ managers in San Francisco after their initial meeting earlier in the summer at VidCon, an annual conference for YouTubers in Anaheim.
“Well guys, that was an exciting, but very long meeting,” he said in a video.
“We ended up going for some food and drinks and stuff in a bar, but turns out I’m going to be doing some stuff with Apple. They don’t work with many people, but we’re going to be doing some stuff together, which is exciting. I can’t tell you more than that.”
AdWeek found that Wong Fu Productions “was paired with Apple” at VidCon.
The Louis Cole channel has more than 1.5 million subscribers and Wong Fu Productionshas about 2.5 million subscribers.
It certainly won’t hurt if credible YouTubers like these with a combined audience of more than four million subscribers will be promoting 4K video capture capability of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.
