How come apple juice I buy from the grocery story contains no vitamin c?

The apple juice I buy is called “Simply Apple” and is made from actual apples. The average apple contains about 10% daily value of vitamin C and yet the whole bottle contains none. What could be the reason for that?
By the way, I know they sell fortified apple juices, but I don’t like those.

Perhaps the vitamin C is found mostly in the skin of the apple?

Also, any vitamin C in the apple may be lost in the juicing process.
