The waiting and the sweet speculation about the next name of the Android version ended Google announced via Twitter, that the latest release of the mobile operating system will be called Android Nougat.
The name comes after the conference I/O in May the company also urged fans to give their suggestions for the name. Android Nougat have to come later this summer as official release, which is build on the two betas that we saw. One key feature of the new revision is the VR platform Daydream, although it will only be maintained by very new released smartphones.
We’ll see more split-screen, multitasking and improved version of the function Doze, which came with Marshmallow last year.
