This week, Google began to updates to Android 7.0 Nougat its own devices in the series Nexus, Pixel C tablet and Android One line. Now Sony is also published an official list of devices which will receive the latest version of the mobile operating system.
A few days ago HTC announced the same information on their smartphones. Samsung has also confirmed that the Galaxy Note 7 will receive Android Nougat till two, three months. The devices of Sony, who will get the Android 7.0 Nougat include:
• Xperia Z3 +
• Xperia Z4 Tablet
• Xperia Z5
• Xperia Z5 Compact
• Xperia Z5 Premium
• Xperia X
• Xperia XA
• Xperia XA Ultra
• Xperia X Performance
The company did not comment on whether the list may be updated at a later stage to include other devices.
“We’ve been working hard to bring this major update to as many of our devices as possible, as quickly as we can. We’re really excited about the new Sony features & functionality and the improvements we’ve made to the user experience – and we’ll be sharing more soon…” Says the official Sony Xperia blog.
