Micromax has announced a new tablet that specifically targets the younger generation. Known as Canvas Tabby, the tablet features a special kids mode that allows children to play pre-loaded content without having to intrude in Android’s standard interface.
The Kids mode has been created EddyPaddy with over a 100 pre-loaded apps and access to over 500 carefully curated videos under 3 areas – Education, Creativity and Entertainment. Moreover, parents can set up kid’s profile depending on the age, pre-set a time limit and block or unblock some content.
Hardware-wise, the Android 4.4 running Canvas Tabby comes with a 1.3GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, 7-inch display, 2 megapixel rear camera with front-facing VGA and 3200mAh battery.
The tablet goes on sale from today exclusively for three weeks on Flipkart for Rs. 6,499.
