The original Samsung Gear Fit was one of the first successful product on then young business with wearable technology, but by today’s standards represents a very basic fitness tracker. It is therefore logical Samsung to present an updated version of the gadget and it comes under the name of Samsung Gear Fit 2.
Samsung Gear Fit 2 is expected later this year, but in the Internet has leaked pictures of the smart band, the information was published by the famous Twitter user Evan Blass.
He revealed that Samsung will offer Gear Fit 2 in three different colors – black, blue and pink. More interesting, however, is the presence of impressive and vivid AMOLED display, which most likely has IP68 certification, which means the possibility of immersion up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.
The same certificate includes protection against dust, which will be the first such functionality for fitness tracker. So far, the price and the premiere of Gear Fit 2 are not yet clear, but if we can make some speculate, debut in August or December is the most probable since then traditionally the company presents new mobile products.
