The Teslasuit is a full body haptic feedback suit designed to enhance a virtual reality experience. The suit uses neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) to provide feedback related to what the user is doing in the virtual world. The exact feedback the suit provides can be programmed with proprietary Haptic Editor software.
The suit comes in two editions with varying features. The Pioneer edition includes 16 channels of feedback, and the Prodigy edition includes 52 feedback channels with climate control to further immerse the user.
The makers of the Teslasuit are funding the project through a Kickstarter campaign, where they are offering early access to the suit as well as other rewards.
