Xiaomi and Huawei Working on Smartphones with Curved Displays

Thanks to the curved screen, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge enjoys great popularity and according to the latest rumors two more Chinese companies will offering similar design. The new rumors, indicating that similar phones with curved screen can come very soon from the Chinese producers Xiaomi and Huawei.

This new device from Xiaomi most likely will be called Mi Edge or Mi Note Edge, while Huawei seems to work on phone with the name Mate Edge. Both probably will debut in September.

Although undoubtedly the advanced design, this will not be the first Chinese manufacturers that will offer smartphone with a curved design; that honor fell to Vivo and his recently released Xplay 5.

Interestingly, while Xiaomi seems to rely on curved display manufactured by LG, as we have seen in the G Flex series, Huawei will use display manufactured by Samsung.

Both models are different as production technology and end result. For his model Xiaomi will use again Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM memory, 16MP camera, while Huawei will rely on their own Kirin 950 chip-set and also 4GB RAM memory.
